Happy St Patty's Day...Late!

Family Time

Nick's mom, aunt, and grandma made the trip from Ohio and it was so good to have them in town to help with Abby the first couple days...they took her places and kept her occupied so she could still feel lots of love while her parents were sleep deprived. They left too soon it seemed though! Thank goodness they will be back in two weeks - Phillip has spring break so they will be making their normal trip south!
Here are some great pics of Ryley and Abby just being precious as always! Abby got to have fun with the neighbors kids (Brook and Conner who are too cute and we feel as if they are family too!). We also finally got to have our BBQ with friends that Ryley interrupted...good times...

She is finally here! All of us are doing well and Abby is still trying to figure out what everone is so excited about - she hasn't seen too much change except she only gets attention from one of us at a time!

I love it when I catch Abby sleeping in random spots...She had gotten up early and wanted to watch cartoons and eat. When I couldn't hear her anymore I went out to check on her....this is what I found - How Cute!!

Nick's New Tattoo!!

Nick got a new tattoo!! I had bought it for him for our anniversary and he just was able to get it. KIA or Killed In Action is what this tattoo means...I can only imagine what that means to him, but for me it means our friend Casey. I am sure there will be more tattoos to come becuase this is Nick we are talking about!!

Growing, Growing, and Now She's Grown It Seems!!

Abby and Daddy worked on getting her doll back together...Dad worked and Abby oversaw the operation....
Tanner just asked for them to not be too loud so that he could get in the remaining portion of his mandatory 12 hours of sleeping before he went to bed for another 9 hours....

I woke up on Tuesday feeling really great as the baby has dropped and was out of my rib cage for the most part...Abby let me do her hair...and when I looked at her...she looked so grown and it made me so sad... Look at how grown up my munchin looks!!

Such a little model...boy is her daddy in trouble when she gets older!!!

Saturday Morning Fun

Abby decided to mock me this morning as I had my camera out...she uses Nick's old camera all the time yelling "cheese!" She also threw in one of her awesome poses that Miss Christie at daycare taught her...normally the hand on the side of the head is accompanied with the catch phrase "Pretty!"

Ah - then Tanner came to play. Abby was getting practice with diapers as she insisted that her bear (courtesy of her cousin's Morgan and Payton) needed changed. She then mentioned that Tanner should be changed...Great Idea Abby!! SO, Nick cuts a hole for Tanner's tale and we do it...so much fun on a Saturday morning in the Ritterbeck household...

Pretties!

Abby finally let me put bows in her hair! She calls anything you put in her hair "pretties." It was a warm Thursday and the outfit I had bought her was too cute to not put pretties in her hair...if only Abby would have let them stay there for more than 5 minutes...

It was Valentines Day and Nick couldn't wait any longer... he had bought her the big girl bed and it had to be put together. He even went and picked out the sheets that are all too fitting... "Princess" bed set...I think that is his silent way of admitting it. Although it makes me sad, it also made me smile to see Nick lay in the room with her to make sure went to bed tonight instead of just getting up and walking into our room...

Sunday Afternoon In The Park

We took a Sunday afternoon trip to the local park with our friends Jim, Jessye, and Jim Jr. to the park....the highlight was the slide and the horsey merry-go-round....It was fun for all - not to mention the 70 degree weather that was enjoyed!

Take That Chesney!

Take that Chesney - we got pigtails too!! I can finally do something with Abby's hair other than just brush it!!! This was what we wore to Kids Klub at church for PJ night...it was a hit!
